The Narconon Program
Those who do not have drug or alcohol addiction may think it is easy to rehabilitate one’s self. I personally believe that it is not. While treatment centers often can be huge factors in helping a patient get rid of that problem, the patient also has to exert effort and interest in overcoming it.
It is a fact though that there are many treatments across the nation that choosing one is a mundane task. For one who does not know where to task can be very difficult. However, I came across one that piqued my interest.
The Narconon Program was started by William Benitez who was an ex-inmate of Arizona State Prison. He founded this program after Benitez came upon a book in the prison library by American author L. Ron Hubbard and after reading it, applied the principles it contained on increasing one’s abilities. he and dozens of other inmates were able to permanently end their addictions to heroin. A very inspiring story if I say so myself.
The Narconon program is a non-profit public benefit organization having the sole purpose to eliminate drug abuse through drug prevention, drug education and drug rehabilitation thereby helping patients get rid of this disease problem.
With a worldwide network of over 120 drug prevention and drug free social education rehabilitation center, it has expanded its points of presence across the nation enabling patients to easily find the closest branch near them. Any patient wanting to treat one’s addiction will not have a problem finding one near them. This is one of the problems that one encounters whenever one needs to look for a well known and reputable treatment center: its location is not accessible to everybody.
They actually have one of the highest success rates in the field of drug rehabilitation, with outside studies showing 75% of the graduates going on to lead stable, ethical, productive drug free lives. The results are not biased as these were earned by the students themselves. And if you do not believe it one bit, this ought to change your mind: the results have been documented by numerous reviews, studies and white papers on the various components of both Narconon drug rehab and drug prevention programs.
Drug rehab usually starts and ends with the patient. But if the patient cannot do it by one’s self, a little help will not hurt. In fact, drug rehab programs like the Narconon programs may just be what the patient needs.
