Starship Troopers: Invasion (2012)
Out of all the Starship Troopers stories I had seen, this has got to be the closest the bugs have come to defeat the humans.
A distant Federation outpost Fort Casey comes under attack by bugs and the ship closest to where it is is ship Alesia whose team is assigned to help the retrieve John A. Warden.
There they discover how the queen can control the ship and it is now a matter of survival as they try to stop the bugs from infesting Earth.
I have to say this was the first time I saw a CGI animation with nudity and some kissing with it. They made those hot females pretty darn good.
The kind of bugs are still the same as those in the original movie and cartoon series. They did a very good job animating all of them.
The movie ain’t for kids though considering the nudity and those torn body parts all over the place because of bug attacks.
However, a full action packed movie like this one does not happen that often. In fact, if there is one that gets produced it really is not that good overall. Starship Troopers: Invasion is a whole lot different compared to the tv series.
This one is way even better!
