Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
I knew right after I saw the trailer for this movie the first time, it will be a good one. After getting the chance to watch it, I’d say I was right.
The movie is good! I liked how the people behind this movie incorporated events from American History and portrayed the enemies as the vampires themselves.
The character who played Abraham Lincoln was perfect for the role, even with the beard and all.
The vampires were another story. They were not so sophisticated as vampires shown in other movies. The vampires here seem to just charge at will without showing off their powers except a few ones like disappearing but this looked useless since Abraham was taught by a fellow vampire to fight against them.
In a way, the vampires seemingly look upon humans as inferior and really takes them for granted like when the war started and the soldier vampires just kept on charging like grunts. Can’t blame them for being powerful since the humans never had a clue why they could not die.
Abraham’s character looks a lot like Liam Neeson. Even his voiced sounds like him.
This was one of the movies that I looked forward to watching and never disappointed after doing so.
