The Wolverine (2013)
I thought this was going to be action packed. Instead, it was more story than action. The story was okay. The action simply lacked my expectations. I mean, come on! Sequel? And they cannot even put up a long fight scene?
Worse, the Silver Samurai was just an ordinary adamantium clad armor with no power. He could not even teleport. And what is up with Wolverine’s claws cut off? I thought adamantium could not be broken, even more so with adamantium itself.
The Wolverine’s scenes make up mostly in Japan and introduces another mutant called Viper. Oh yeah, there is Jean Grey too, appearing in scenes wearing a lingerie. Also, make sure you stick till the end of the ending credits because there will be a short scene there with Professor X and Magneto.
I am choose when it comes to watching movies in theaters. They have to be good, action packed and avoid making moviegoers fall asleep. With too much dialog in this one, there came a point where I told my wife that it has gotten boring.
When the fight between him and the Silver Samurai came, it was just … meh?! Silver Samurai could not even teleport unlike in the comics and cartoons. I guess they purposely left that out or else he would have totally owned Wolverine.
