After almost a month, I finally got to watch this new Scooby Doo tv series called Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. It is the 14th incarnation of Hanna-Barbera’s Scooby-Doo series featuring the same voice characters but now are drawn a little different, just a little different.
Scooby and the gang make their way to Crystal Cove, a village best by ghouls, poltergeists and other supernatural happenings. Our heroes investigate, but the inhabitants of Crystal Cove don’t want their help. And each of the gang’s parents don’t approve of the other members as well. There are new twists here, like Daphne and Velma attempt to make romantic sparks with Fred and Shaggy, respectively. But neither of the boys are ready: Fred is too pre-occupied with his ghost traps and Shaggy does not want Scooby to know that Velma is keen on him.
As I always keep saying in any of my Scooby Doo posts, I am a big fan of them and any new series or movies is always a welcome sight for me. There is also something unique with this one compared to its past series. Where the past series would feature single episodes, Mystery Incorporated looks to have longer plot that may just take the whole season … or more whilst capturing monsters and the bad guys, there seem to be something else with Crystal Cove.
