What A Stressful Week

I left my wife in my hometown last week because she was hospitalized. Luckily she’s now in our home recuperating. As such, I had been busy doing errands because I will be visiting her tomorrow. Luckily, tomorrow is a holiday so my work’s leave credits will stay as is.
Plus the fact that I came in to the office so early in the morning to make sure that all my tasks will be finished only added to my sleepless nights. I have a lot of sleep to catch up tonight in the boat … that is … if it won’t rock it as much as my last trip going there, which sadly is the same boat. Good luck to me.
I finally finished everything that I needed to do including getting round trip tickets and now I can relax a bit. Man, getting those boat tickets was a hassle too. I had to wait 2-3 hours for my turn. Still, I can feel at ease now that I will be able to see my wife soon. I miss her very much. It is pretty hard if you are far apart from your special someone. I am sure you have experienced that at some point in your life.
So it will be a 3 day hopeful relaxing days for me this weekend. Spend some quality time with my wife, see how she’s doing, go back to my work next week, then go back to my hometown to fetch my wife back. Today has been a stressful week. I hope next week will not be as much.
