Free Medicines For The Poor. What About Us?
I heard an excerpt from some wannabe vice presidential aspirant who said that if voted, that person would make it possible to offer free medicines for the poor. My first reaction was … what the … While free medicines for the poor, if it will become a reality is a good thing, I kind of felt that that statement was unfair.
What about us middle class income earners? We pay taxes. Shouldn’t there be something free for us as well? After all, majority of the taxes come from middle class people. Not from the rich. And saying free medicines for the poor, in my opinion is not such a good idea. This would only spoil them all the more because they know that they can expect free medicine from the government.
And whenever these politicians show their faces in commercials, only the poor is focused most of the time. So disappointing. Going back. Free medicines? That’s vague. Promises should be said that seem to look possible. Not in some general way.
