In accordance with a Korean legend, every five hundred years, a woman protected by a man transforms in a serpent to fight against a dragon in a battle between good and evil. In Los Angeles of the present days, after a mysterious accident, the reporter Ethan Kendrick recalls his meeting fifteen years ago with Jack, who owned an antique shop and told him that he was the one supposed to protect Sarah Daniels. Ethan seeks out Sarah and together they fight to survive and destroy the devilish dragon.
This movie was released in 2007 and quite frankly, I totally forgot about this until I saw a trailer shown in a TV exhibit in the mall yesterday. The CGI caught my eye right away and I asked the guy in charge of the TVs what the movie’s title is. Man, it was a good thing I saw the trailer. I enjoyed the movie after watching it. Great special effects, great CGI, great snake, dragon and beasts.
Plus there are many battle scenes between the army and the enemy beasts. The real battle comes during the middle part of the movie after the huge snake appears. The first half focused on the legend and what Sarah and Ethan are doing in the present day until the time came for them to fulfill their roles.
While the story and actors are a bit so-so in my opinion, it made up with its awesome CGI. If you have not seen this one, you ought to watch it!
