Mama Maria’s Pizza
The new pizzeria along Gorordo street has been in operation for quite some time. It was just last night when I had the chance to try out what they have to offer to pizza lovers. The establishment is called Mama Maria’s Pizza. I was with my wife last night when we tried it out. What can I say? Hmmm. Service was bad. Really. There were only a few customers there and their crew seems to be dead, not quite attentive to what is going on with their customers.
The food? Well, I was not entirely satisfied with their pizza. I found it to be smaller than Da Vinci’s and Calda’s Pizza. More like Alberto’s size (correct me if I am wrong). Still, my point is, Calda’s Pizza’s size is better than Mama Mia’s. Their pizza tasted good, yes. But the price is not worth it.
Their pasta though is a different story. I was surprised to see that they had quite a lot of noodle serving for a pasta priced at around 90 pesos. But voila, it seemed like I ate only noodles. The sauce was not much and it was not thick. We decided to order another of their pasta (forgot the name) that is mixed with curry sauce. The result was the same. It did come with chicken and pineapple bits but the curry sauce was again not thick or something.
They have this huge pizza that is priced at almost 1,000 pesos. I guess that is their main attraction. The only positive there is that they have free WIFI for customers to use. Ask the password from their staff because it is locked from public use.
