Robin Hood Finale
So the series Robin Hood finally came to an end. I guess the timing was just right because it has dragged on for too long even if it lasted 3 seasons. Robin should have killed the sheriff a long time ago. Instead he just keeps on motioning to kill the sheriff when he has the chance or just tries to scare him. Because of that is the main reason for his undoing (even though he was ultimately killed by Gisbourne’s sister’s poisonous knife slash) in the end.
Yes, Robin Hood died in the 3rd season finale. As did Gisbourne. At that moment I knew then that the tv show has come to a close. They both did become friends unlike in the past when they were bitter enemies. And for good reason as the cause and reason was divulged within the last season. The sheriff was unbelievably alive too after Gisbourne stabbed him and he fell from the top of the castle. It would have been good if they were all alive and repelled the sheriff’s invasion. It was a sad ending for a tv series.
Season 1 was good. Season 2 kind of dragged because Robin Hood could not kill until it was too late … but only good for the sheriff’s men. And good riddance that Marian died at the end of season 2. Her dramatics against Robin were just too plain obvious and the bad guys never noticed she was in cahoots with Robin. Season 3 was a bit disappointing too because of that black guy who joined their group who talks like he is sick. Another female who also joined their group talks just like the black guy.
The actors who portrayed Robin and Gisbourne’s characters fit them well. This was one of the best British tv series in my all time favorite list (even though some characters annoyed me).
