Coraline
A young girl walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life - only much better. But when her adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents (including Other Mother) try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home - and save her family (from IMDB.com).
While watching this movie, I thought it was some kind of 3D generated show but later on I noticed that the characters’ movements are somewhat different like it was some claymation type. The movement may be like claymation but the characters and environment were made from 3D. The story is unique, I like it. A friend of mine said that her daughter did not like it because of its eerie theme. I guess I could agree with her. Not all kids may enjoy watching this as they might get scared with the eerie music and the button eyed alternate reality versions of the characters. I like this movie. Its story and quality is well done.
