Already on-going, international buyers converge on Shangri-la’s Mactan Resort And Spa in Cebu, Philippines for another installment of Bijoux Cebu - unique Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair that merges business and pleasure, organized by the Fashion Accessories Manufacturers And Exporters Foundation Philippines, Inc. (FAME Foundation).

With 70 exhibitors at the Marquee and 100 exhibitors at Shangri-la’s Garden, it is the Philippine exporters’ way of thanking valued customers for their continued support and appreciation of the Philippine Fashion Accessories Industry.

Bijoux Cebu Fashion Show

Bijoux 2009 had some fashion shows from September 26-28, 2009. I took part only during the second and third day. Models donned Cebu’s top designers’ creations, including accessories and jewelry from the FAME Foundation Cebu. Designer creations ranged from top style/haute couture, casual accessories, bag show, foot wear, women’s resort jewelry show and men’s resort show.

Bijoux Cebu 2009, Cebu’s own international fashion accessories trade show, was held at the Shangri-la’s Mactan Island Resort And Spa in Cebu City last September 26-28, 2009. The event’s organizer, Cebu Fashion Accessories Manufacturers And Exporters Foundation (Cebu FAME Foundation), opened the event to the public.

Bijoux fair showcased an extensive collection of fashion accessories like costume jewelry, bags, sandals and components that reflect the latest trends in international fashion.

As export trade shows are normally for trade only and limited to foreign buyers, it was surprising that they opened it to the public. Fashion shows for the young and very young (kids) took place during the 3 day event. A lifestyle bazaar was also organized at the Shangri-la Gardens where you can buy accessories like earrings and bracelets at the manufacturer’s price. I managed to buy a few bracelets and earrings and it did not cost me much. Lucky .
