The way I see it, Clipix is some sort of new visual bookmarking tool so you can go over those you find interesting with ease. Bookmarks are especially useful but then again, you would have to go the entire page just to look for them.
Even if you can specifically bookmark an image, the URL surely won’t look good since it would be pretty long. Clipix organizes them visually in a surprisingly easy way. It’s simple! First you need to create an account and drag the Clipix button to your bookmark bar.
There, whenever you see some interesting image, you can click on that button, choose the image and place some note on it. Easy, right?!
You can even get more creative with your site if you want. Place the Clipix button beside say, Facebook or Twitter buttons to make it easy for your visitors to clip your content.
They also have this so called Syncboards where you can clip photos collaboratively with friends and relatives in real time. Like if someone clips one right now, you will be able to see it right away, provided you are logged in of course.
