Bijoux Cebu
Bijoux Cebu 2009, Cebu’s own international fashion accessories trade show, was held at the Shangri-la’s Mactan Island Resort And Spa in Cebu City last September 26-28, 2009. The event’s organizer, Cebu Fashion Accessories Manufacturers And Exporters Foundation (Cebu FAME Foundation), opened the event to the public.
Bijoux fair showcased an extensive collection of fashion accessories like costume jewelry, bags, sandals and components that reflect the latest trends in international fashion.
As export trade shows are normally for trade only and limited to foreign buyers, it was surprising that they opened it to the public. Fashion shows for the young and very young (kids) took place during the 3 day event. A lifestyle bazaar was also organized at the Shangri-la Gardens where you can buy accessories like earrings and bracelets at the manufacturer’s price. I managed to buy a few bracelets and earrings and it did not cost me much. Lucky
