A Bad February 2014
Wow. Last month typically was a bad month for me. Twice, I got singled out by some reputable restaurant’s staff looking down on me like I do not belong there.
I hate it when I get to a place early and tell the staff I want that table only to be told it would not be possible because it is reserved. So what was my own reservation for in the first place then? For show?
So maybe people will tell me to reconsider or something but I just couldn’t. You know why? The staff could not give any darn reason why they won’t give me that table only that it was reserved. We both reserved some seats in the restaurant and it so happened we were there first so why not give the table to us?
To think that this restaurant is in a well known hotel in the city that strives to make guests feel at home. What they offered me was some table outside the restaurant area with a table that looked like an antique.
That was downright insulting. When we finished eating, we saw the group who were seated there. They were nothing special, and they were also more than the number of people compared to our group so that really ticked me off.
Sigh. That was very frustrating and I can never give this hotel restaurant a good rating for good service.
