Happy New Year 2013!
It seemed like only a few days back when I posted about the start of 2012. We are here again … for 2013! So many things to look forward to this year and there were already a few things that happened early this year that I did not expect to happen.
I will not spill on this one issue since it is so sensitive but it left my family and I scrambling to keep our grandmother out of the loop because she is already old and hearing some bad news is surely not good to her health.
It is a good thing that I went home to my hometown for the New Year because my whole family will be going to Manila for their US Visa renewal interview. Only my wife and I will be left at home so it is good timing that we will be there to help distract my grandmother from boredom.
I am very happy that this blog is now on its 5th year of being online. I never expected it to grow in the first place and it was never my goal to begin with to have visitors pass by here and there. My only intent was to fill this blog about my life’s happenings to give me a portal to glimpse back at the past on what happened in previous years.
My blog monetization expectations are higher this year compared to last year when I had to cut in half my expectations compared to the year before that. I am happy that my expectations for this year is back to normal and I hope to get more blessings in order to support my family and our finances.
Thank you dear God for the good blessings my blogs have received over the years and may the great Lord continue to shower me with more blog opportunities!
