2013 has not totally passed yet but I think it is the right time to enumerate all the bad luck that had happened to me this year.
If I have to compare the good versus the bad, I would say I barely had any good that happened to me. Sure sure … people will then say I should be thankful that I am still alive but let me state the real time events that had happened for as much as I can remember.
I finally had to wear eyeglasses because I cannot see people far away. Big thanks to laptop.
I lost my eyeglasses.
I said condolence to the wrong person.
I lost some money for who knows whoever took them.
I got mugged and lost my wedding ring.
I bought a parking slot for the condominium that I just purchased thinking my plan for a house won’t push through only to have it .
I lent money to someone in need knowing that I will be get paid back since this was the money to be used for my brother in law’s chemo therapy then finding out that I may never be paid back.
I finally see firsthand how lousy and lazy these government staffs are in the Philippines, particularly in Cebu. You get charged skyhigh but then you do not get the desired service in return. (Especially if it is during Christmas season then say your wasted time goodbye because they will start working next year.)
So many telephone numbers of government offices in Cebu are never answered. Seems hanging up the line is a norm for them.
I found out so many paid blogging systems have shut down because of Google’s recent Penguin updates so my monetary opportunities have become less.
I experienced the worst earthquake in my life. 7.2!
I guess these are the only ones I can remember right now. I am sure there were still many that happened that I did not like. All I can say is good riddance 2013! I hope 2014 will be better.

Well, usually by May most tv series end in the U.S. more or less. Usually after that it is mostly reality tv shows that run and since I do not watch any of those, I tend to focus on catching up what I miss with movies.
And yes, there are quite a number of them to catch up. Maybe just in time till my favorite tv series will start their new seasons.
After a very long time, I finally got to finish Spartacus. I do not know but I have been kind of lazy watching during the weekdays. It is only during the weekend that I have the chance to try and catch up.
Up next will be to finish Game of Thrones. I know. I know. It is not some series that I really look forward to. I love the dragons. But I still prefer cartoons over live action shows LOL.
Lately though, there have been no good cartoon series save Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters. Even that will end after this season so my downloading will be focused on movies for now.
It is a quiet season for tv this time around. But a few months from now it should pick up where the last episodes people had watched left off…
