Merry Christmas 2013!
This post has come at a delay. I had been hounded by speed loading problems in my site. I thought at first it was mainly WordPress 3.8 but I really had no doubt that the problem was with my hosting provider since my blogs’ internals have never been changed except that system update.
So no, the plugins are not to blame. The first agent I talked to never acknowledged the problem unlike the second one who did so kudos to him for this. At least my sites are back to normal.
So … Merry Christmas! 2013 is coming to an end. My blog is now 5 years old! Whew! I never expected to blog in the first place so for me this is a pretty big accomplishment. Yes, paid blogging was a huge factor although I used to start with ads.
Then again, I never thought my blogs would last this long. My tech blog is the strongest since so many programmers visit to check on solutions and source code snippets that I post on various programming languages.
While paid blogging is going to completely die in the coming years, I still hope there will be visitors who wish to contribute to my blog for a price. Those little monetization can greatly help keep my blogs alive.
So if you are one of them reading this, thank you very much!
And again, Merry Christmas 2013 to you all!
