Rest In Peace Kathryn Joosten
When I read the news title about a Housewives star who passed away, I instantly had an idea who it might be. When I read the article, I was saddened to learn that Kathryn Joosten, who played the character Karen McCluskey in the hit TV show Desperate Housewives died at age 72 because of lung cancer.
Funny thing about the show is that they also portrayed her with the same sickness (cancer) as the show neared its end. I remember when this show started. It was really a hit. Every scene, ever second, every minute of that show was hilarious.
Even my wife who started watching it during the 2nd season got hooked to it instantly till the end.
Kathryn’s character portrayal was impressive and amazing. Even though I did not watch her acting in West Wing, I know that she made a good impact in that show.
Cancer is really a beast and I always hate it when I learn someone died because of it. I read last night that the people in the U.S. have a drug that can shrink tumors. Although with some side effects like hard breathing and rashes to name a few, it is a good start.
Anything to combat cancer is welcome news.
To Ms. Kathryn Joosten, may your soul rest in peace and I commend you for a great acting career!
