The Green Hornet (2011)

A lot of my friends who saw this movie said that was not good. To see is to believe right? After so many months idling in my laptop I finally got to watch it and I must say … this movie sucks! If not for Kato, then this movie is typically nothing. I can only say negative things because if you want me to say anything positive, there are only two names that are good here: Kato and Cameron Diaz.

This movie should have been titled Kato not the Green Hornet because this is the first movie that I saw where the personality of the hero is that of a bratty child. Plus, who the hell would do some hero thing if one cannot even defend himself. Plus the actor is not fit to play the main character. He looks like a serious Will Ferrell.

The movie is just so bad they think that we are watching a kiddie movie since the main hero never dies, right? And here we have a stupid maniac who wants to fight crime but cannot even do anything. Kato does most of the work.

I am not sure if the personality of the Green Hornet is the same as in the comics or the classic tv series and I do not think it is, the one in the movie was just overdone and exaggerated.

Good thing I just downloaded this movie. Otherwise, I’d have ripped my hair off wanting to kick the Green Hornet’s face because of bad acting, too much slapstick and being dumb (yeah he is dumb).

The Green Hornet must be the lamest superhero I’ve come across. Kato is cool though
