At first glance, I thought femtocells are related to stem cells. Turns out it is related to technology. What can a femtocell do? For one thing, it is a small cellular base station, typically designed for use in a home or small business that can help increase your mobile signal if ever it is weak.
What does this mean? For a user, the main benefits is not having any poor coverage or no signal problem and higher mobile data capacity. Femtocell units can handle a few simultaneous calls from the same operator, depending on the model. This is best suited for busy people who keep getting important calls but sometimes who cannot answer them because of their phone’s limitation.
