Tangled (2010)
This movie is good. I just had to say this at the start of this post. It has been awhile since I last saw a good Disney movie and the fact that this was done in CGI made it even better. Tangled is actually the story of Rapunzel, a character so many grownups already know about.
The film features the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, and Donna Murphy, and the film is the 50th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.
The story is more or less the same. The magically long-haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is.
There were only a few times where Rapunzel’s kidnapper and her boyfriend to be said “Let down your ha-a-a-air”. Even her guy only said it once and that was in the last part of the movie when he was going to save her. The movie is a bit fast paced from my point of view but overall, a really good movie.
And titling it as Tangled instead of Rapunzel is a good marketing strategy since using the lead character’s name as the movie title may be too redundant. This movie is definitely worth watching it.
