Go Away La Niña!

La Niña is a coupled ocean-atmosphere phenomenon that is the counterpart of El Niño. During a period of La Niña, it means more rain while El Niño results in barely like a dry season. Rainy season should be done by now but instead people should be expecting more rains to come.

While we have been lucky so far that the rains usually occur during the wee hours and/or early morning, it is time for La Niña to move on. So … go away! he he he. La Niña produces floods, traffic jams, disruptions of outdoor activities, diseases, colds and many more!

Sigh. If only we can control the weather. That way, we can just tell where the clouds should rain. If it is hot, we could call in some rain clouds to shield us from the sun. I know … impossible. Science fiction. But … who knows … if that will be possible in the future then good for humanity. If El Niño comes, they could call in some rain clouds. If La Niña comes they could disperse the clouds so there won’t be any rain in the city.

Since those things are minutely possible, all I can say is … Go away La Niña!
