It’s Complicated
A hilarious comedy movie starring Alec Baldwin and Meryl Streep. During his son’s college graduation, Jane (Streep) hooks up with her ex-husband, Jake (Baldwin), who is married to a younger woman. As if being your ex’s mistress is not tough enough, Jane also finds herself drawn to Adam, a smitten architect.
When they were brought together at a family event, they found themselves oddly attracted to each other after ten years of divorce. Although the couple thinks that this affair will stay in a different state, it brings itself back to their own city and disrupts their personal lives. While the couple still maintain other romances, they cannot help but to continue with their affair.
In the end, Jane told Jake the relationship could not work and the last part we see Adam and Jane walk into her house. Sucks. I thought Jane and Jake would really go back after watching 2 hours worth of this movie, I expected a happy ending. Watching Meryl Streep in this movie is like watching Ma-Ma-Mia all over again. The movie has its hilarious and emotional moments, overall a typically good comedy movie.
