Do You Agree With This?
Politicians are lucky. Setting death threats aside, I really say they are lucky. Take this one case. An area gets blazed by fire. The people need help. So the politicians help them by donating food, housing materials and others. Who do the people thank? Them. So, what about us? The taxpayers. We are never mentioned. And the politicians involved all get the credit. The people affected would say thank you blah blah blah! But we, the taxpayers never get mentioned.
So maybe the government has an emergency fund ready for cases like these and such funds came to be because of some program that they have to raise such amount or donations. Let us say that is the scenario. But where did the capital come from to organize such programs? Don’t tell me it came from the politicians’ pockets. Part of it is still from taxpayer money. So I say they are really lucky. They get all the credit. If you think I am wrong, do not hesitate to comment. Enlighten me. I would like to know more.
