Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins

This live action Scooby Doo movie tells on how the gang, the Mystery Machine and Scooby snacks originally were formed. We see each character in their early teens, back when they still did not know each other. Unjustly accused of staging a spooky practical joke complete with ghosts, the kids are suspended from Coolsville High.

To clear their names, they decide to solve the mystery. The plot is the same as what you would see in the classic cartoons. The characters’ voices also sound the same as the ones in the cartoons. Velma, though geeky in character is va-va-voom when Daphney dresses her up for a disguise. Though there were real ghosts here, the rest are the usual stuffs you also get to see in classic Scooby Doo cartoon episodes.

When the movie ends, you get to hear the Where are you, Scooby Doo? soundtrack plus the ending scenes of the cartoon series in live action mode, that was the best! Any Scooby Doo fan would definitely love this, especially kids.
