Sony No Longer Producing Spectacular Spider-Man

So the first news movement I have learned after the Disney acquisition of Marvel is that Sony will no longer produce the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon series. This means that the Studio loses Spidey TV Rights. The show, even if it was a very very kiddly Peter Parker and anime-ish in character design still was a good show considering there are barely any action cartoon series nowadays. Oh how I miss the Justice League series. Supposedly there should be a third season but because of the Disney and Marvel news, things have now changed.

People are waiting to hear whether Disney even WANTS a new season. If Disney decides they do not want any new episodes, then the show will sadly be done for good. I too want the series to continue and I guess so does every Spiderman fan which I am sure has a lot of followings. Spiderman is perhaps Marvel’s most famous character and it has been around for so many years. So, everyone will just have to wait and see what Disney’s plans are for the show. At this time, the third season should have started already but there has been no news on Disney’s moves regarding it.
