Da Vinci Pita

I know that Da Vinci pizza’s crust is thin. What I did not expect was how it got thinner. Last night we were supposed to eat at Calda’s Pizza in Lahug. Considering it was a weekend, plus salary day … plus the place only got a few tables, there was a big chance that it would be crowded by the time we got there. And yes, it was crowded so we opted to change venue instead. We opted for Da Vinci’s Pizza, no choice here. The joint’s pizzas are more expensive than Calda’s plus Calda’s has lots of cheese more than Da Vinci’s. We ordered around 4 pizzas last night and we all got surprised when it was served. Man … Da Vinci’s pizza now looks like Mexican pita. Or, say, 10 wrappers thick of lumpia shanghai is how its pizzas’ crust are now. Man, I was so disappointed so I called it Da Vinci’s Pita now instead of pizza. What next? Half crust? Yikes … everything’s shrunk nowadays.
