Naruto Shippuuden Movie 2 : Bonds
Just finished watching the second movie of Naruto Shippuuden titled Bonds. Right at the onsent of the movie, action takes place as a mysterious country called the Sky Country attacks Konoha, the reason being revenge was they were almost decimated during the last Shinobi World War. During the commotion, Naruto meets a doctor who is actually looking for something but the motive only gets revealed on the last part of the movie. Naruto also meets the doctor’s apprentice, Amaru and a 3-man team consisting of Naruto, Sakura and Hinata is sent to Amaru’s village to help up. In another scene, Orochimaru orders Sasuke to get the doctor who was the person responsible for one of his reincarnaton techniques. Pretty soon Naruto and Sasuke will cross paths.
The movie has lots of scenes switching from Konoha’s battle with the Sky country and Naruto’s team. We find another sort of demon here which is the doctor’s true motive and a battle between him and Naruto occurs. The doctor possessing the demon looks like Dragon Ball Z. Even the powers look awfully similar. I was expecting to see some good fight scenes in this movie to think that Hinata’s part of the team. She was pretty useless because she got captured easily, as was Sakura. So we are stuck again with watching repeatable fighting techniques of Naruto using Kage Bunshin and Rasengan (no matter how much he changes the Rasengan’s name, it is still Rasengan). Pretty boring. Even with Sasuke making an appearance and both of them fighting against the doctor’s demon, nothing new was really shown. Even Shino’s kikai bugs were only shown destroying the ships and nothing more. Shino is my favorite character, wish there were fight scenes of him. This was not a good movie. Plot is the same. I believe the second movie of Naruto is the best, showing lots of new Gaara fight moves.

uhhh, i already missed a lot of episodes in Shippuuden..my friend told me the fillers are quite good enough to hang the main storyline.. i want to rate movie myself as well…you must agree with me…the way Shippuuden’s drawn is not as better as the previous Naruto series, right? kk ^^ .. well i still want to watch this one anyway …thanks

i agree with you. and naruto was good when it first started. later on, even with shippuuden the plot’s the same. plus, their fillers are the worst. comparable with bleach. one piece is the best in terms of anime and manga compared to naruto and bleach
