Quite Ironic …

It has been 3 straight nights that my connection becomes worse than a dialup connection. I cannot call up tech support because our landline is downstairs and the time it happened was about 10 and 11pm so my parents in law are already dozing off at this time. After too much waiting I decided to give up and will call them up tomorrow. Although I cannot seem to figure out what good complaining will do since … they answer you with sorries and apologies and still it has been 2 weeks and their *(#$&(*$# restoration has not been finished. I tried to reboot my modem just to see if things will go ok. Still not ok … After refreshing all attempted sites that I wanted to surf to, I found one url that was quite ironic …

The connection has timed out
The server at www.globelines.com.ph is taking too long to respond.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention which DSL. Globe DSL …. There should be a law jailing people behind bogus marketing and service schemes. Like, they do not give us the real connection speed that is outlined in their plan. They keep on telling us that will be the maximum speed that we can get, but will we ever get it? Whenever you complain about some sites not being able to connect, they always ask you what those sites are. I never tell them which sites except those common ones because I know they will list them so that their software can download it to their cache. Then the ignorant customer would be amazed at how blazingly fast the site he is surfing gets displayed. Sigh … I wonder how much rebate I would get. I guess they would probably give me a 50 peso rebate because I can connect to Yahoo Messenger without problems anytime hahaha. Screw them… I have not received the bill yet … so this will be interesting … how much rebate I will get.

it seems that globe dsl is always having a lot of problems. why not shift to pldt dsl? we get better service…and there are like 7 computers hooked up to the same connection.
