Soccer VS Hockey
Soccer is my 2nd least favorite sport out there. My least desirable sport is cricket.
I never experienced going through a whole soccer game on tv. The most that I’ve managed to watch are those scenes when players get a goal or some other play that highlights a good play. Still, I am impressed with die hard soccer fans. They really are the most die-hard fans of sports. Where else do you find big riots within the location of the game itself. About soccer I find it boring. All they do is use their legs to move the ball to the other end for the goal and stop your opponent from doing the same to your end. I like hockey better than soccer. So yes, in a way their gameplay is somewhat the same, score a goal on the other end. But I enjoy watching hockey more than soccer because I love watching players skating on the ice while playing the game. For me, it’s much harder to play than soccer. First, you’d have to learn how to skate, else why bother attempting to play the game if you so can’t at least step on the ice without falling down. With soccer, anybody can run easily. Ok, so let’s switch the comparison with the hands. Hockey players use their hands to move the puck around while soccer players use their legs with the ball which is harder to do. That may be true, but hockey still wins because aside from having to learn how to skate, it’s not easy to move around on the ice when you’re on the move. You can’t just break all of a sudden when you’re moving forward and fast. So it takes more control to move your body with the right actions. Funny thing with hockey, when fights occur, a lot of times everyone just watches them punch each other around until they get tired. I enjoy watching it haha. Even the referee just looks at them till they get worn out. If i were to choose between watching a game between either of these two sports, I’d choose hockey right away, no question. Too bad I wasn’t able to watch one when I went to the US as basketball was prioritized hehehe. One more thing, what’s nice with hockey is it’s a little like the NFL (football). There’s banging too!
