The Korea Electronics Show 2011 is only a few days away and I am sure that both guests and attendees are very excited to see what new products tech companies are planning to showcase. Big named companies are going to gather up in what is Korea’s biggest and most well known electronics show dubbed, KES.

KES’ motto for this year is titled “Be Smart”. So why this? The Korea Electronics Show is expected to showcase and emphasize the convergence between software and hardware. Questions like how will software meet hardware to brighten up the IT industry as well as improving the quality of our lives?

The Korea Electronics Show will also act as a marketplace for research and development suppliers from universities, research firms and research institutes to market their products. From as far as India, Russia, Canada, Japan, China and Indonesia are expected to take part in this once in a year tech showcase.

Those who like to jet set around the world should try to book an invite to this event in Korea. Hey, it is not yet too late. There are still a few days left before the said event so there is still time for you to plan your trip and Visit the Korea Electronics Show 2011.

Samsung and Inquirer Lifestyle presented Face Off Cebu at the Waterfront Hotel last week and I must say, it was a hell of a show. Great show, great production. Just great!

The show featured the top 13 designers from Metro Manila and Cebu who paraded their 2011 holiday collections presented by Samsung, the Inquirer Lifestyle and Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

Face Off 2011 continued the commitment of Philippine Daily Inquirer and Samsung to promote the best of Philippine fashion design by showcasing the top designers in annual fashion shows.

Designers include famous names like Edwin Ao, Pablo Cabahug, Mike dela Rosa, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, Rhett Eala, Protacio Empaces, Jun Escario, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hofer, Efren Ocampo, Randy Ortiz, Philip Rodriguez, Cary Santiago.
