NMEDA
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

NMEDA is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers, driver rehabilitation specialists and other professionals dedicated to expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to drive or be transported in vehicles modified with mobility equipment.
What is admirable with this organization is the fact that all members work together to improve transportation options of people with disabilities.
The organization promotes and supports individual members engaged in the modification of quality transportation for people with disabilities like wheelchair accessible vehicles.

People with disabilities can find that a wheelchair accessible vehicle can be beneficial to them because they do not have to stand up and sit down again just to transfer to the car. Doing that alone is pretty hassle if you ask me. But a wheelchair accessible vehicle can make it fast, easy and hassle-free for the person involved to go in and out of the vehicle.
The QAP which stands for Quality Assurance Program, is a recognized accreditation program for the mobility equipment industry. The program was developed to promote quality, safety and reliability within the industry.
The advantage here is that a QAP designation enhances vehicle modification and mobility equipment installation in a manner consistent with the highest guidelines available in the industry.
NMEDA dealers offer individual in-person evaluations, on-site local support for sales and service, factory supported warranty systems and 24-hour local emergency service by their quality assurance program technicians.
