Having Your Own House Ain’t Easy. Unless You Get Help
One month since we moved in to our own house, I have to say it ain’t easy. My wife and I have work and we get home beat up and tired.
Sure, we help each other out with the chores but when it comes to the heavy duty responsibilities like laundry and ironing, it is a whole different ballgame.
Yes, we do use the washing machine but my wife does not like using it for clothes that can easily be damaged by the machine so she does it by hand.
Ironing looks easy when you look at it but try doing it yourself and you will find out just how much electricity gets wasted because you did not do a fine job.
Yes, we need help but right now I think we cannot afford hiring someone to help us every day so for now, we grind out all the chores ourselves.
I never did say that having our own house things would be easier. That never crossed my mind. But I never expected it can be this tiring especially if you have a daily job to hold on to in order to make ends meet.
And to think, we are just getting started ;).
