Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 Review
Definitely one of the best movies for 2014. The first movie was good alright. This one was even better. So much action and I got to appreciate how powerful Hydra can be as an organization.
I never took Hydra quite seriously in the comics but in the movie? Woh! Totally a whole new level!
There were quite a lot of action scenes and the appearance of Falcon made it even sweeter. At least Cap is not alone in the journey. We cannot count SHIELD because even though they have been so far depicted here as goody two shoes, some of their actions are shady. In the comics at least but I am sure in the next Captain America movies, some of their bad intentions will be shown.
I especially love Agent Hill. So beautiful, tall and oozing with girl power. While Hydra’s goal of exterminating majority of the population through the hellicarriers was scary, it did not instill fear to me because heck, the Incredible Hulk can just smash them all into smithereens.
Didn’t Hydra think about that in the first place? Their plan will still be for naught.
Oh yeah, as with all Marvel movies, always stay till after the ending credits. They always have some juicy scene to appease movie viewers one last time. But for this movie, SPOILER alert … Bucky was just staring at their replica mannequins in the museum. It was not worth the wait.
Overall though, you definitely have to watch this if you have not or have no plans at all. Best viewed in a movie with any surround sound system!
