What Rainy Season?! It Is Freakin’ Hot! July 2013
Late June till now, I have to ask. What rainy season?! It feels like summer, just no sun that’s all. It is always rainy season in the Philippines from June till around October but lately it seems that even during the wee hours of the morning, it is so humid that aircondition is of utmost importance.
Which can lead to possible rise of electric bills. And nobody wants that. Our aircondition does not have any inverter in it so any energy cost saving possibility is mute.
During the day I am lucky I work in the office. If I was out all the time, I think my armpit’s smell would swell from the scorching heat.
Yes, it is the rainy season but at least give us some cool weather mother nature. There is no point having this kind of season if the weather is hot even at night.
Which points to global warming. As usual. The common culprit. Seems like people will just have to adjust to the weather no matter how hot it is.
While I am thankful the city I am in has not been devastated by floods … yet, at least a little cool weather at night can compensate the harsh daytime heat that people have grown to hate.
