Stressful The Previous Week
I went home to my hometown the previous week because I wanted to visit my grandma, spend time with my parents and siblings and just relax. However, that trip going there and back was the worst of my life.
2Go’s boat, which was Super Ferry before seemingly delayed their departure time which stressed me out so much that I almost got sick when I went back for work. I think I have a sinus right now. At least it did not get worse though or I will totally feel miserable considering it was just a few weeks ago that I had a month long sickness combination of flu, colds and dry cough.
Seeing my grandma made me happy. But looking at her, I know it won’t be long before her time will come. This is really the sad part of growing old. When I was young, the pain passed in no time. As I grew older, those close to me, well … they were just hard to let it pass.
For now, I will always make it a point to give my grandma her best remaining years by going home as much as I can and playing mahjong. That game really invigorates her. Except for the losing of course ha ha. But well, that is part of the game. We do not gamble with real money anyway, just all fun.
As stressful as last week was, I hope next week will be better. Which reminds me. I have to have a body massage to sooth my aching head and body.
