Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted
This movie was unexpectedly good. I mean, I thought it would just be a so so movie but I really enjoyed watching the chase scene between the animals and Captain Chantel DuBois.
She was a beast. A very effective hunter though she lost in the end.
The story of this movie hinges on the fact that Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman wish to go home to their beloved Big Apple. It is through this journey that they get to meet a traveling circus, providing the perfect cover and which they reinvent, Madagascar style.
Despite the annoying voice of that annoyingly annoying lemur, the penguins made up for his annoyance by providing slick and fast action scenes. Those penguins are really smart, able to adapt on any situation.
I am not sure if there will be a Madagascar 4. But I figure this will be the last since in the end, when they finally reached their zoo home, they decided to go join with the travelling circus. Kind of hard to see what the plot will be if there will be any more new movies of it.
But a TV series sure won’t hurt considering that Penguins of Madagascar is probably doing good. I say probably because that annoying lemur is also there.
This was a fun movie and there were quite a few scenes where I found it to be emotional like when Katie Perry’s song was played while the animals were doing their stunts. It was a great moment to watch.
