Congratulations To Barangay Apas For The Guinness Record Of Most Nonsense Discorals Every Year
Yes. I am pissed. Ain’t it obvious?! I wonder what the hell the people in charge of monitoring when these events should stop are doing right now. It is 4:00AM, way past the limit time of 2:00AM on a weekend that so called discorals are allowed to operate.
I have been here a few years now and I have to say that Barangay Apas holds the record number of discorals held every year. I mean, what the hell?! What are they having discorals for?
I thought at first that whenever fiestas are celebrated, discorals are a common sight. However, I doubt there are many fiestas in Barangay Apas alone. Heck, if I recall I think they had like maybe 15 or more discorals last year.
They are a nuisance! The organizers behind those really have no manners, no breeding and downright no respect to people living in the area where those nonsense events are held.
Heck, the discoral that I am pissed at right now is a bit far from where I live but it is still loud. Imagine what the people living in close proximity to it must be feeling.
I really thought that the background music I hear sometimes at night is from our next door neighbors. When I went home late awhile ago, the boombox used in the discoral was already blasting people’s eardrums.
When we got to our room, it finally confirmed that they are the source. Sometimes the music when reached to our place is subtle. However, today was bad. Really, really bad.
It is the bass sound that pisses me off.
Well, this is the last straw. I am going to call up the barangay tomorrow (if they are open on a Sunday) and ask for the contact number to complain if they still operate beyond the limit time.
This is why the country will never improve. Most people simply have no discipline. Their style is to just wait till someone tries to complain. If there is none, then, tuloy ang ligaya.
So Barangay Apas, congratulations! At least you have a Guinness Record: the most number of discorals held every year.
I wonder, can police be contacted to reprimand the discoral crew to turn off their junks and get the hell out of the place?! Or is this restricted to those working in the barangay alone? Thoughts?
