Poor Robert Blair Carabuena After The Incident With An MMDA Officer
I recently saw photos of Robert Blair Carabuena holding an officer but I really did not pay attention to it until I got bored today so I thought maybe I should check it out. Poor guy. After what he did to the MMDA officer, not only has he become an Internet sensation, but it looks like he is now being bullied in cyberspace.
Karma I guess. I surely did not like what he did to the MMDA officer named Saturnino Fabros. Kudos to him for keeping his cool. If he reacted violently as well, who knows what the news now will be. But alas, he was calm and did not react violently back at Robert.
Fabros got back at Robert Blair Carabuena alright, with the help of almost all the Filipinos. It is sad that Robert did this, a painful reminder that with technology nowadays even a simple and subtle outburst can be blown out of proportion although this one was not subtle so it is no surprise with regards to Robert’s situation now.
Worse, there is no more privacy in the Internet. Even if you set those configuration in certain sites to private, there will always be some other site that one tends to forget and leave it vulnerable to the public. Heck, even his home address, car plate number and mobile number was leaked in forums and blog posts.
Robert Blair Carabuena should apologize in public and to the MMDA officer in person. Considering that he is an Atenista, imagine how the university would feel if he just kept quiet to himself.
I salute MMDA officer Saturnino Fabros for his actions despite the arrogance that this jerk did to him.

I have encountered many of Mr. Carabuena’s character many times over through personal experience and as a witness. As a victim of bullying I have taken the path of least resistance and maximum tolerance. It is when I see innocent people being bullied that makes me furious. People of Carabuena’s sort will not stop their bullying and arrogant ways unless given a dose of their own medicine. Ika nga, kailangang makahanap ng katapat. These people will not stop trampling on people whom they perceive as being “smaller in stature and status” compared to themselves. In olden times, public humility or being ostracized by the public was a more effective means of keeping people in tow compared to merely penalizing the person. Much as I wish I could sympathize with the counter-bullying Mr. Carabuena is experiencing, I cannot, at least for now.

@bonsai: i have to agree with you with regards to everything you said. people would have gotten angry if mr. carabuena only verbally abused mr. fabros. but he even went so far as to physically assault him which I see as the reason why our countrymen are even angrier.
