I Did Get My Wish Today
Supposedly, I did not get my wish today but suddenly it did, so I rewrote my post title and part of this post. I actually thought today is the feast in our barangay’s area. Turns out it is next week so I am looking forward next Saturday that it will.
Last year was horrible. The discotheque stopped at 7AM. It was non stop. It was hell. The useless barangay captains never bothered to intervene that by law, 3AM is the maximum time that discotheques should be stopped. Imagine how our area went quiet only during the morning. I really had a hard time sleeping that night because of the noise.
While the rainy days are a blessing here (thank God it has not flooded and I hope it never will), I hope the rain will pour on us next Saturday. Then I can get a good night’s sleep. As I am writing this post, it actually started raining. How about that … Miracles do happen and that is why I changed the post title from “I did not get my wish today” to “I did get my wish today”.
