Fun Run, Here We Come!
My next fun run in, like more than 7 years! Quite a very long time. Finally, I got to rally up a few friends to join me and my wife for Cebu’s first fun run of 2011. This ought to be interesting. Even though we registered for the 5k run, I am curious to know if I can manage this distance.
The last fun run I had was 13.4k and that was way back in 2004 and I guess I could say it was a miracle I managed to finish it, to think I never jog nor exercise that much. Since the available runs for next year are 5k, 21k, and 42k, I figured 5k is good enough for me. 21k is overkill considering my age ha ha! And 42k, well, I do not want to talk about it.
While 5k is really short, would have been nice if there is a 10k option but I think my wife needs a short distance since this will be her first fun run experience. We both are looking forward to it. Who’s joining? See you this coming January 9!
