Caffeine Overdose
Today is a very tiring day for me. I pretty much barely slept last night because I had a caffeine overdose after drinking coffee at Coffee Cat. My friends and I hung out there after our friends’ wedding reception. I think I also did not sleep well because Coffee Cat’s drinks seem laden with soya milk instead of milk. Now, I am not sure if it is indeed soya or not but there is something with their milk that makes me go yuck whenever I drink too much.
Aside from the caffeine overdose that left me wide awake during the early wee hours, I also had nightmarish thoughts about dying. Man … that really sucks. When I was a child, I could not care less about that. But at my age, things are very different with how I look at life.
I had to snuggle close to my wife because I needed some comfort after thinking about that nightmarish thought. So I slept at around 3AM and woke up still drowsy, head spinning and feeling knocked out. But guess what? I still drank coffee in the office because my eyes sometimes fall down while working. I hope tonight I can get a good night sleep though and that the caffeine overdose may not get to me.
