Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince (2009)
In the sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, and in both wizard and muggle worlds Lord Voldemort and his henchmen are increasingly active. With vacancies to fill at Hogwarts, Professor Dumbledore persuades Horace Slughorn, back from retirement to become the potions teacher, while Professor Snape receives long awaited news. Harry Potter, together with Dumbledore, must face treacherous tasks to defeat his evil nemesis.
If you have read this book then there is no surprise watching it because everything is the same as in the book (probably a little left out considering the movie is more than 2 hours long). The kids are now big and it still baffles me how they cannot defeat their enemy when all they have to do is cast Stupefy!
The movie’s story is fast though, like so many plots mixed and cramped into one movie. This would have been better if it was a 2-part movie like their intended 7th movie will be. Harry Potter fans will like this movie. For me, it is just so so. Except for Hermione, who is blazingly hot
