One Piece: Strong World (2009) Movie

In One Piece’s 10th movie titled Strong World, Oda personally headed the movie production and created the movie’s story. Nami is in a very critical situation of leaving the Straw Hats again and the worst part of it is joining an enemy, Shiki who once was Roger’s rival.

I love One Piece and was excited to see Shiki being animated and curious as to what his devil fruit power is. After watching it though, I was disappointed. Not with the movie but with this character. He was Roger’s rival when Roger was still alive but what happens in the movie? Luffy creams him in the end. Which is impossible since Luffy did not even show any sign of Haki here. But it did happen and it made Shiki look like a weakling. Him who fought on equal grounds against Sengoku and Garp in Marineford.

Shiki’s devil fruit is powerful too. If you have not seen it, watch it. I won’t spill much on the details here . Robin’s getup made her look different here but everything else was all good. Again, the movie is good even though Shiki’s other two nakama were weaklings that Sanji and Zoro easily defeated.

Compared to past movies of One Piece, I would say I think this is the best by far.
