No, this ain’t some battle cry from some turtle fan. This is actually the title of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie titled Turtles Forever. It is a made-for-tv animated movie that was produced by 4Kids Entertainment.

Produced in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the TMNT turtles franchise, the movie teams up different incarnations of the titular heroes - chiefly the light-hearted, campy, child-friendly 80s characters and the darker, more serious cast of the 4Kids’ own 2k3 animated series in an adventure that spans multiple parallel universes.

It also marks the finale to the 2003 animated series. They even featured Turtle Prime, the dimension that is the source of all ninja turtles and includes the black and white more serious turtle versions of themselves. There was also a scene when the 2k3 Shredder showed the turtles all multiverse turtles and it was funny for me to see the live action turtles included. The mayhem really starts when the 80s turtles get zapped into the 2k3′s dimension and the 80′s Shredder who also gets teleported, revives the 2k3 Shredder (which is actually like an evil version of Krang but only in a Shredder suit).

The 2k3 Shredder is mean, evil and more serious while the 80s Shredder is still the harmless type. Because of how evil the 2k3 Shredder is, the 80s turtles do get serious at some points in the movie but they are still the kooky bunch nevertheless. Plus, there is always Rocksteady and Bebop and their stupidity that make the movie even more hilarious.

Any turtle fan should definitely watch this. If only they’d make another one. I enjoyed watching this from start to finish. It’s Ninja Time! Turtle Power! Cowabunga!
