What Kind Of Fish Is This?

I bet you have no idea what kind of fish this is. Is it a fish? Or an alien? Looks like some face right? With 2 black circles that look like its eyes. This weird creature is actually called a blobfish. It is a deep sea fish inhabiting the deep waters off the coasts of mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Deep waters. That means it is rarely seen. These animals live at depths where the pressure is several dozens of times higher than at sea level which would likely make gas bladders inefficient for maintaining buoyancy.
Instead, the flesh of the blobfish is primarily a gelatinous mass with a density slightly less than water; this allows the fish to float above the sea floor without expending energy on swimming. Its relative lack of muscle is not a disadvantage as it primarily swallows edible matter that floats by in front of it.
Since it just floats itself, consuming whatever it can eat along its path, this works well for the blobfish as it means it is able to survive on small amounts of food due to the lack of exertion in its life.
