Another Ex Beauty Queen Gets Busted

I read news before about an ex beauty queen from Mexico getting nabbed during a drug bust operation. Now, I read another one that an ex Miss Russia got nabbed during a New York City drug bust operation. Though this one is not related to selling or carrying drugs, it is a pity that such beautiful women get hooked with drugs.
What Anna Malova did was forging a prescription for painkillers on a pad stolen from her psychiatrist’s office. She filled a prescription for 85 pills of the painkiller Vicodin and a pharmacist there said she had come in with a similar prescription before and bought painkillers.
What is it with drugs that can really get a person addicted to it. Is it because the glitz life and glamor can sometimes lead people to that direction? Can’t answer that though since we are not on the same level ha ha! But really now, it piques my curiosity why. There are so many ways to avoid drugs and keep one’s self occupied. Really … one just has to have the discipline to counter against that temptation.
