The Power Of Honey

Been having a bad case of dry cough these past few days. Last night was unbearable. I really had a hard time breathing. So I decided to sleep late and while at it, thought of surfing the web to check on some cures for dry cough. Seems honey is always mentioned in all sites and is mentioned as a natural remedy.
Another good remedy is ginger juice although when I read about how to make one, it seemed like a hassle. For now, I am sticking with honey. Although I am feeling a bit better today, I ain’t taking any chances so I bought a bottle of honey to drink it and help cure my dry cough problem.
And since honey is considered a natural remedy for dry cough, drinking it all the time will not affect you negatively in other ways. This assimilable carbohydrate compound, is a singularly acceptable, practical and most effective aliment to generate heat, create and replace energy, and furthermore, to form certain tissues. Honey, besides, supplies the organism with substances for the formation of enzymes and other biological ferments to promote oxidation.
It has distinct germicidal properties and in this respect greatly differs from milk which is an exceptionally good breeding-ground for bacteria. Honey is a most valuable food, which today is not sufficiently appreciated. Its frequent if not daily use is vitally important. I think I will now include honey in my daily diet ;).
