Sherlock Holmes

Elementary, my dear Watson. This latest movie adaptation of Sherlock Holmes features a fighting detective rather than a purely investigating one. After finally catching serial killer and occult “sorcerer” Lord Blackwood, legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson can close yet another successful case. But when Blackwood mysteriously returns from the grave and resumes his killing spree, Holmes must take up the hunt once again.
Contending with his partner’s new fiancée and the dimwitted head of Scotland Yard, the dauntless detective must unravel the clues that will lead him into a twisted web of murder, deceit, and black magic - and the deadly embrace of temptress Irene Adler.
This movie is good! I thought at first that it would be boring because it is set during old times. But Holmes’ fighting skills are entertaining and made the movie not boring in my opinion. Rather than having all detective work, both he and Watson show their fighting skills against their foes. Robert Downey Jr. has had a string of successful movies spawning from his new fresh start in the movie Iron Man. Great for him. If you have not watched this movie yet, do so. It is an entertaining and action packed movie full of detectiveness.
